I don't know if there is anything quite like a pleasant surprise. We go to the door and there stands a friend we haven't seen in a while that has come to see us. We get a card in the mail that brings some good news. You may even have some unexpected money come your way. There are all kinds of surprises that will lift your day and your spirits.
God is full of surprises. Remember the trip that Abraham took knowing that he was going to sacrifice his son Isaac before the Lord. Right about the time Abraham drew the knife back God said surprise I got a ram in the bush. God provided right on time, but we must be mindful of the obedience of Abraham. It was his obedience that moved God.
